Website was advertised on a hacked Instagram account. The website looks viable, but is a scam. I ordered sunglasses and still had not received a verification email. So I searched the internet and discovered this is an old scam that is resurfacing.

Saw an ad listed on Instagram saying Rayban had a summer sale for 90% off items. Checked out the website and it looks very legitimate. They are trying to advertise $199 sunglasses for $19.99

I noticed a friend on Facebook post a picture tagged with me and with other friends which only contained a simply designed ad for the above website and stating there was a "one day sale" for 90% off prices on Ray-Ban sunglasses. I went first to my friend’s page to see they had posted several similar images and tagged 9 different friends in each of those posts. I then went to the website advertised, "www.rb-ur.com", and checked the copyright at the bottom, which only redirects itself to the current website instead of the name of the business which Ray-Ban runs under. I then went to Ray-Ban’s official site, "www.ray-ban.com" and double-checked their copyright, which was correct compared to their Wikipedia page. After that I also found the ScamPulse.com’s post on a similar fraud happening on Instagram, so am reporting that this scam has also made itself known on Facebook. I reported it there, and am also reporting it here so that this scam does not succeed in fooling people into buying from a fraudulent website.

I was one of many tagged on Facebook advertising a one day sale for these fake products claiming to be Ray-Ban.
