they contacted my husband today adv his last 4 of his social and birth date. stating that he had 48 hours to take care of his debt or that they will file a civil suit on him and it will be over $3000. i called our local court house to check on everything and also provided the scammers a call back to ask for proof of the debt and be mailed the details of the debt to just to be told that is not there job. so unless we are served something over the debt we will not be paying anything to anyone

I just received a voice message that sounded recorded. It was not even my name they were looking for, but after their spiel and giving an account "ID number" they announced. "You have been served". I’m very concerned that they are going to somehow attack me or my credit when they are actually looking for someone else and didn’t bother to find out if they had even reached the person they are looking for. I have not called them back from my phone, for fear of being further hacked or scammed. I may have my husband call from his cell.
