RoundRock Oqtel

Andrea – Apr 18, 2020

I received an identical email covering many of the points mentioned here. Very glad I did a check on Round Rock Oqtel before responding and getting involved in this scam. If things sound too good to be true, it’s because they are. Thanks to all you guys for posting this info, and good luck finding a real job.

April 18, 2020 – Anonymous as don’t want my name out there.

I have been scammed as well with RoundRock Oqtel! Fortunately, I found this website Scam Pulse and read all of these accounts where others were scammed as well. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES – DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY FINANCIAL INFORMATION IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM! ONCE THEY GOT YOUR BANK INFORMATION THEN THEY CAN DRAIN OUT YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!

I had a “gut feeling” that this might be a scam as I have been an Administrative Assistant for many, many years and there hasn’t been ANY COMPANY, large or small that pay an Administrative Assistant this much money per hour. The only way you can earn even the $28 per hour is to be with a company for a LONG TIME and RETIRE from the same company. If you are a good, honest, hard worker, you might, I mean you might leave with at least $25 per hour, but in no way would it be $36 per hour. That is INSANE!

People ought to be ashamed of themselves to use this sort and many other sorts of scams to obtain personal and financial information. DON’T GIVE OUT YOUR INFORMATION AT ALL! God’s Holy Word says, “Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord, I will repay”. These people will be judged harshly unless they repent, ask Jesus to forgive them and ask Him into their hearts to help them live an honest, fair, good/better life.

So thankful that I ran across this website to discover that this company and all that are involved were a part of SCAM!

This is the email I received this morning. Mr. Charles basically hired me on the spot.

As soon as I brought up the scam “Charles Watkins” immediately blocked me, please don’t do this. If you need more proof look up round rock OPTEL, the real company.

Don’t do anything like this over the phone. I’ve had several “companies” reach out the same way. Told me to download an app to do a interview there. They offer you to work from home and make big bucks then they send a employment offer letter you have to sign then later you give them your address like most employment places need and they send you a “check” don’t put it in your acct. Because then they can take it back then they have all your info, your signature they can use to sign on anything. It’s just a overall bad idea and definitely a scam. Just ask them “Where are you located and is there a HR office number I can call?” If the ignore the question and don’t provide one best chances are it’s a scam. Most legitimate companies will call and they will have HR contact. Hope this helps.

Type of a scam Employment

I am not sure if this is a scam or not but they offered my son’s girlfriend a job from home paying $28 per hour for customer service/data entry. They sent her a check to buy her equipment with for her to deposit and then by the equipment. her bank does have the funds on hold. So I sent in a resume because I was leery of it and they offered me a position as well. Asked me if i had credit cards. I said yes but I would not use them for buying any equipment. So they said they would send me a check to buy the equipment. I have been scammed before to the tune of $24,000.00 so I am very leery of businesses that do this. Please just check them out and let me know if they are ligitimate. The person who contacted us is Charles Watson through an app called Telegram. He gives you instructions through that chat way. O am supposed to make contact again Monday morning at 8 with him but I would like to know if this is legitimate and if not for someone to catch him and punish him for scamming desperate people looking for jobs. I have attached a copy of the signature page they sent with the offer letter. If you need more I’ll see if I can get it.
