Type of a scam Debt Collections
Jason from Regional Media Services called today on Dec 5th, 2019 and attempted to collect $10,000 in payment from me for services he said I verbally agreed to over the phone back in July. He threatened to sue me for the full amount including taxes, late fees, interest and penalties unless I paid him $2200 today. I questioned him about his company and told him that I never heard of them or agreed to any services from his company. He said he had a voice recording which he refused to play for me. Then he threatened to sue me again and when I said I wasn’t giving him any money, he hung up.
