The above number called me telling me that the company that they work for has closed down and that they were ordered to REFUND ALL MONIES THAT THEY HAD COLLECTED FROM people that have used their services in the past. I was given the website above and started typing it in. THen remembered that Norton used a type of service like this to get access to my machine and FIX my computer last week. i used a name of JOHN DOE and used a code of: 232-195-525. I DID NOT push enter. This info was supposed to used to "get an online form to get my supposed REFUND????

Caller, a robot named Kate, tells you you have a refund from a tech support company that has gone out of business. Foolishly, in the past,I had purchased tech software that probably was not necessary. The two are probably related, but they don’t use any names of companies, so they may be phishing.

A person from an unknown name/number keeps calling by business saying he is from the refund department. He wants to refund me $199 for a service they provided on my MAC laptop. I have told them I do not own a MAC laptop and have not used there service. He keeps probing me to see what kind of computer I have. I honestly don’t own a MAC….all my computers are DELL or and ipad which I have not told him. He asks me to turn my computer on, I say no. But I am at work so my computer is already on so he doesn’t know and is trying to gain access some how. I have asked him to take my number off his list and he said no he will not and will keep calling me. He has left a message on my phone once where someone is singing a song in a different language then says bye. They call every couple days.
