I received what looks to be a fake subpoena for records from my company. The records that they requested are from fictitious business parties, of which I have never had transactions with. The company first called me to tell me that they have a check to send me for the documents. When I researched them on BBB, the description indicates that this company engages in fake subpoenas to build lawsuits.
