Type of a scam Online Purchase
There was an add for a 2014 Yamaha 700 Grizzly Quad for $1,000 . My son contacted this person to inquire. He saved money to buy it. She informed him he would need to pay with Ebay gift cards.
We got $1,000 in Ebay cards, paid….
The next day we looked into this, and with Ebay there was no user with this name, nor invoice number.
We are very upset.
Later we saw this same add on Craigslist, it is attached below.
I contacted the IC3 and made a report. I haven’t heard from anyone.
