Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
The website in question is tindertechno.com. They are advertising prices at pretty significant discounts for tech products. They only
offer payment through PayPal and PayPal "egift". When you select PayPal, an error occurs saying your payment can’t be made.
Conveniently, when you select the other "egift" option, it says how PayPal isn’t working for them and to send an e-gift; I assume it
was referring to a friend and family gift which are non refundable. It said my order was placed and if I wanted to get the item, I
needed to send a payment through PayPal to the below details. The address listed on the site does not exist. I was already skeptical
and I stopped at the point of the sketchy PayPal stuff and didn’t send any money. I’m not sure if this is the correct place to file a
complaint, but I did not find any reviews of the site or chatter on the internet about it’s legitimacy when looking into it. It has a
professional appearance and could potentially trick people into sending non refundable payments to this person without any
guarantee of getting an item. The payment is also prompted to go through this link for egifter.com (which I’ve never heard of and
mentions nothing about PayPal). ***
