Mountain Ware Store

Armando – Dec 01, 2020

I ordered an item that I saw online for a ice maker, it took almost 4 months to come in and when it was shipped it was the wrong item, the company proceeded to tell me that I received the package which I didn’t I received a pair of cooking tongs, the ice machine was $30. Mountainware proceeded to tell me that it was not their error but international shipping. I was told that I could only get a partial refund! I paid almost $20 for pair of cheap cooking tongs! Buyer Beware! Avoid all products from this company unless you want to get scammed!

I ordered a gaming chair off an ad i saw from them. Its 3 months later and i have not received it. No contact from them so i disputed with paypal, they then update their tracking info to show it was delivered 2 months ago. I check to see what i got in the mail that day and it was a phone holder that i didnt remember ordering but figured it was one of those free things that catalogs send out randomly. That way they can show the package as delivered. I paid alot for a gaming chair not a mf phone holder

Type of a scam Online Purchase

lee sophia is the name used in emails. Its a bait and switch site. They have name brand items on their website for deep discounts. What you get is the worst generic version of that item. They then tell you its cost more than the purchase price to return it and push you at every contact to take a percentage discount which starts at about $8 then they work their way up to $15. Even when asked directly for the address to return it to the still offered a discount. Im not sure I would have even gotten that if i didn’t have paypal to arbitrate. Avoid at all cost
