Just answer scammed my mother. They claim I agreed to a membership of 46 $ a month. In the past few month I see they have taken several hundred dollars out of her account for an inaccurate answer that didn’t work. My mom remembers the conversation quite well and no mention of additional pay past the one dollar fee. This reject company obviously has a fabricated scam system for someone who is simply trying to receive minor help to figure out a small inexperienced task. They refuse refund and obviously didn’t feel they needed to explain or discuss. Also, flat out rude over the phone.

This website insists that I joined their group and a charge appeared on my credit card (Discover)
All I was trying to do was clarify my newspaper subscription with the St. Augustine FL Record. I don’t know how this group got my charge card number except somehow through the newspaper’s website. My payment to the Record is with my Discover Card, so they have my card number on file.
I have instructed Discover not to pay this fraudulent charge and the so-called Just Answer has contacted me to "cancel my membership" but I’m not clicking any more on this site.

Agreed to pay $5 for help with compatibility of universal remote with the Dish Hopper. Got connected with computer expert? that keep asking what operating system I was using on my desktop computer. This had nothing to do with my question & I told them that. Just kept getting “canned” responses. I realized I wasn’t communicating with a human.
I emailed that their expert did not help nor understand my question. I asked for a refund.
Not only did I never get any human response, but I found I was charged for a $45 membership I never requested.
“Just Answer” is a total fraud & slams you with membership fees without permission. It’s a scam!!

I thought I was on a legitimate website for Apple. When their expert prompt popped up I thought it was part of Apple but they asked for a $5 fee. I stupidly gave them my debit card information. Then when they sent me an answer they billed me around $50. I did not download the answer and I immediately changed by debit card number.
