Juan texted me about a car I had for sale on Craigslist. I had a bad feeling so I said I changed my mind about selling it. So then when I tried to log into Netflix the following day I could not get in. I called Netflix and they walked me through to get my account back. Juan had taken over my account put it in his email and changed the sign in info which is why I could not get in. So everyone be careful and change passwords once a month. Selling on Craigslist not for me anymore. Hope this helps someone.

I received a call from an unknown number asking why I called him. I said I didn’t call him. He said yes, you called me at 10:43 this morning. I said, no I didn’t. I was on the phone with someone else at that time. He said, is your number ***-***-***? He had my phone number, so I said yes. Then he said well it shows you called me. I said no, I didn’t, I’m sorry. He said that’s ok, have a good day, and hung up. After hanging up, I thought that he was just trying to get me to say yes to my phone number, which he clearly had, and I have no idea who he was. He seemed very persistent until I said yes to that being my phone number. Needless to say, I will be monitoring all transactions very closely.

First a woman emailed and asked for my info so her dad could contact me in regards to my car that is for sale on Craigslist. I gladly shared, he then asked me general questions and then asked if I would go to cheapvinreport.com and do a VIN check. Well, the website was suspicious, so I went with carfax instead and he was NOT happy. He was quite rude. I believe this to be a scam to get people’s Credit card info.
