Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief
They attempted to collect a debt that was supposedly 10 years past due. The debt they were referring to was not on my wife’s credit report nor was it in collections. They told us they would have the sheriffs department come to our house to serve us. When we received a missed call from the sheriffs department’s phone number at 6:30 pm last night, we immediately called them back, finding out they closed at 4:30 that evening. This morning we called the sheriffs department and talked to the sheriff himself, stating that these types of scammers actually can call from remote numbers and that the sheriff in fact NEVER called us. When we received another call from the scammer shortly after finding out it was a scam, I told the man he should be ashamed of himself. He called my wife the “C” word and told her to go “F” herself. This was all I needed to hear to get my blood boiling and to report them. Also, was solid proof they are not legit and feel bad for the people who do actually pay this poor excuse for a human being.
Also, the email we received has their office address. When googling it, it actually leads you to an Orthopedic Office in Washington DC.
