Jack Clark who claims to be a mediator for a James, Baker and associates, had a unknown male leave a voice message about criminal charges filed against me. I was instructed to immediately call an 877 number for information to stop the proceedings. When I called the number which is also unlisted, Mr Clark demanded $902.12 by 5pm that day to keep from going to court. He claimed the court damages would total $2242. He had my Social Security number, bank account information and former employer information. He spoke of Westgate Group and Hydrofan financial. I had not heard of either company. There are multiple complaints listed on the internet against Westgate Group for participating in such scams. He claimed to be with a company of attorneys that had been doing business in Florida for over 12 years. He could not validate the information he had, claiming I owed money from "unknown" interest charges on a previously paid short-term loan. The company website he listed is a facepage only with a non-working number listed in Scottsdale, AZ. According to my research the company he works for is owned by Sergei Erefeev with a current value of $8.95 ? When I questioned his validity he became hostile and threatened criminal charges against me.
