Hi there,

I hope this email finds you well.

I’m reaching out to you today because we’ve been informed that a registered offender moved into a unit at your building and, as a result, access to Nextdoor is temporarily blocked to all of the members at that base address who don’t have a unit number associated with their Nextdoor account

Since you didn’t sign up with a unit number, I’ll need to verify that you don’t live with the offender. The easiest way to do this is to attach a copy of an official document, that has both your name and address (with a unit number) on it, to this email. This can be anything from a driver’s license, a utility bill, or even a photo of a postmarked envelope. Once I can verify that you don’t live in the same unit as the offender, I can restore full access to your account.

I hope you can understand that with the sensitive nature of what members share on Nextdoor including children’s photo’s, names, and ages; addresses; spouse information; and much more, that we would rather err on the side of caution than to have one avoidable problem occur.

I’m looking forward to hearing back from you.

Best,

Joan
