Received 5+ calls today alone. Leaves voicemail in robotic voice claiming there are issues with my tax return which will expire in 24 hours and once expired I will be placed under arrest. When I call the number back someone answers claiming to be an ‘officer’, and when I asked why are you calling me he hangs up. Called several times and get a several different people all in a call center environment.

A man identifying himself as "Officer Ron Snyder" from the "IRS Department," called my home phone number and left a message saying that an arrest warrant had been issued for me and that my home address was "currently under federal investigation."

Type of a scam Tax Collection
Caller number left message that I was being sued by IRS and to return call. I returned the call. A male with a foreign accent stated IRS Department. I told him why I called. He asked for my name. I told him. He said to wait. Came back on said I was being sued for not paying my taxes. I told him I had paid my taxes. I asked why the IRS didn’t contact me by mail. He "wait a minute, wait a minute" and hung up.
