Type of a scam Phishing
First, scammer sent email under the email [email protected] under my boss’s name and asked for assistant’s personal cell. She sent it back, and they texted her, pretending to be my boss and asked her to go to different stores and buy iTunes cards worth $100 each for a conference. She was then told to scratch off the number on the back of the card used for validation and to keep the receipts. She caught on to what was happening and returned as many cards as she could.
