Type of a scam Tech Support

Was on the internet and clicked on a Facebook link and received a message from Microsoft about my IP address being hacked. Displayed a phone number to call Microsoft as soon as possible to help keep ones passwords, getting a virus on your computer and obtaining any private information.

When you call the number on the screen and they answer you can’t make out how the answered. Unless you ask where you are calimg then they will tell you Microsoft. They immediately ask you what your computer is displaying and will you to give them access so they can see. They will go over a lot of information and then they tell you there is a fee for the services. They will log into a pay pal account that does not display any business name information so you can enter your credit card information. Then they will tell you oh, we will email you a receipt, etc. Not true. They will then ask you to log into your personal email and take some false agreement and paste it on a composed email so you can email it to them. Once that is done, all you get in return is an auto reply message, Thank You For Contacting Instaitconsulting, we will get back to you soon.

No signature line listed on the email.

The next day, I went to the Microsoft Store and I was told that this was a scam and I was the 5th customer coming in with this.
