Type of a scam Employment
I was contacted by a company saying they want him to employ me as a buyer. The base pay would be 72,500. They explained that they help clients from other countries obtain products from the US because the companies in the US do not ship products over seas. I was asked to use my personal credit credit card at which time the limit of that card was 700 dollars and my balance owed was 700. This company gave me an account number to pay off my card fully and upon doing that my balance rose to 2400 and I had a zero balance. The account numbers that were give to make payoff to my credit card was from Bank of America. Prior to this happening I was sent an employee application along with W4 and I9. They also sent a list of benefits along with FAQ to explain the job I would be performing. So now fast forward my card has zero balance and I was giving an assignment to complete which was to make a purchase of 2 iphones and then I was required to send them over seas to the client. Once the iphones were shipped I was given a Bank of American account number to payoff the card so I could make perform the task again. This happened 3 more times in a 30day period. Then my credit card company closed my account because of returned payment. If I would have used a second card I would have done twice the amount of damage so thankfully I did not do that.
