I got a call from a man on Thursday stating that my grandson was in a car accident that he caused. He even knew my grandson’s name. He said he was being detained and needed $8000 bond to be released. I told him I didn’t have that type of money. He said he was going to speak to the judge and see if he can reduce the amount. 5 minutes later he called back and said that the judge would reduce it to $4000. I told him I didn’t have that either. He asked what could I spare and I said $100. He said that’s not going to be enough and hung up.
