Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
A fraudulent email was generated within 2 minutes of supplying a service technician with my email address for an electronic receipt. I suspect the technician was there only to collect cash for a required service charge. He claimed I received a discount of 10% by paying cash. He never sent a receipt. I called the above phone number, which is not answered using a company name. The woman who answered the phone gave a company name of Home Services and Repair but only after I asked. This happened with 2 different calls. She claimed the receipt would be emailed once the technician returned to the office. No one ever identified himself by name. I never received a receipt.
I confirmed the email was fraudulent by checking with a relative.
