Type of a scam Employment

They said they were responding to my resume that was on a job search website. This job was a quality inspector. I was supposed to be receiving packages and making sure they were okay, and send them out. We continued sending emails back and fourth, they had me fill out an application and sign a employment agreement. When everything was done, they sent me my log in ID and password along with the link to the site that I was supposed to be using. When I first went on the site I got redirected to a page by Norton Virus protection saying that the site wasn’t used by the Norton community and they might be trying to steal my information. This alone made me a little skeptical. When I got into the "user panel" that is where my daily communications with my "supervisor" would take place. The first thing she had me do was look at my personal information and correct if needed, but in their was also a spot for my facebook URL, this also made me a little skeptical. I left that blank, and DID NOT change the password that the had given me. It took about a week for them to finally send me my first package. When I received the package, it was from a clothing company called Lulus. My mother decided to give Lulus a call to see whether or not they use other companies for QA, and the customer service representative said that they did not. (this took place 3/9/10) I tried calling Hi-Tech-Sale Inc using the phone number on their website, the call went straight to the dial tone. I sent them a message through the complaint email on the website. I’m unsure if Hi-Tech-Sale themselves is a scam or if a scammer was just using their company name to attract potential victims.
