Type of a scam Identity Theft
Was told to give name, address, telephone #, occupation, house, rent or own, govt ID #, which could’ve been licence # or SIN #, did I have active credit card, a senior, married or single. They could assist you with, paying bills, buying a home, starting a Business, going to school, retired or disabled. Would let you know with this info if you were applicable. 5 min later, yes and the choice was from $50,000 to $200,000! All you had to do was have 2 amazon credit cards with either $400.00 to $1200.00 depending on how much money you needed! The grant would be delivered and you would have to give them the credit cards first then supposedly they would give you the grant ! Scammer from the business (my scammer was a FB friend) is supposedly called RON JOHN! Blocked both, the one on FB and the one who texted me on my phone! Hoping none of my info is able to be used by them re address etc and my SIN. This happened in Ontario, Canada in early March, 2020.
