Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was selling a dress through poshmark.com, and they left me their email and asked me to contact them there. After I sent them an email, they agreed to pay. A few days later, they told me that their son was in the hospital and they sent me the hospital bill payment instead of the dress payment and they wanted me to take the dress amount and send the rest back. I searched about this senario and many scammers say similar things like this to earn money through fake checks. I have not received the "check" yet and I will not cash it when it does arrive.
