Type of a scam Romance
Brian Patterson, if that is indeed his name, contacted me on a dating site. It was quite an elaborate ruse that he used but I felt suspicious about a few things he said and a few pictures he sent that looked photoshopped. I did some reverse imaging detective work and found that he was using the picture of a gentleman from Belgium named Bernard Clerfayt as his pic on his website and other pictures he sent to me claiming to be him. Upon further investigation I determined that he does NOT hold an interior design degree as he claims. The state of Texas is investigating his false claims to be a licensed interior designer in their state. This man is well trained and uses sympathetic ruses to gain your trust.
