Type of a scam Online Purchase

Complaint is as follows:

I watched a YouTube video spouting the benefits of buying an auto repair manual as good as the manufactures’. It goes on to say how detailed the product is, and takes you through the details of how to install it and how to use it. The YouTube video plays on the notion the manufactures don’t want you to have this data.

After purchasing the particular auto manual series, I received no download options or instructions. I then went to their website again to see what I had done wrong. There were cryptic instructions on the best tool to use, to download the service manuals and a link to install it. It stated that it was the best option to install the service manual, use it to track and down and load the files, due to large file sizes involved. I, with trepidation, decided to download the “download manager” relying on my security software to keep my computer safe.

The download completed successfully and I followed the instructions precisely from “emanualonline.com” with regard to performing the download.

After several attempts, it became apparent to me that no download was ever going to happen.

I then checked the ScamPulse.com site and found other similar complaints.

I am not a lawyer, but this is a clear case of fraud due to the use of a social media i.e. YouTube. The individual in the video should be held responsible for this fraudulent claim that this product is legitimate.
