Type of a scam Travel/Vacations
I was contacted by Ryan King and Thomas Jones from this Honor Rewards Resort company. The only reason I entertained the phone call because they told me they were with Hilton Honors program which I am a part of. I was sold a vacation package that I unfortunately can not use. The locations that were given to me were not all-inclusive and I need to be 28 years old to partake in the tours I did not receive this information until after the purchase. During the phone call I told them repeatedly I was not 28 years old but Ryan assured me the company had locations I could go to without needing to be 28. I called to get clarification on what I bought a day later and it seemed like Stacy the customer service representative I spoke with did not know anything about the packages the company had. She told me all-inclusive was only for Mexico and Dominican Republic. When I explained to her that’s not the impression I got when I purchased the package she later told me oh no all-inclusive should be at all locations. It seemed like they were just telling me what I wanted to hear to try and keep my money. I requested a refund after talking with Stacey and was told that if I could not provide a good reason as to why I wanted one then I couldn’t get it. On their website it states that I can request and receive a refund within 7 business days of purchase. I bought it 2 days ago. I should not have to explain why I want a refund if I requested it. Just give me my money back. The manager that I spoke to today I think was named Henry was very unprofessional and rude when I asked for my refund. He said he would have to investigate it further and make sure my reasons followed their protocol. The bottom line is I was sold something I cannot use, I requested a refund within the allowable time frame and was told my reason was not good enough.
