I was expecting a call from someone else, so my guard was down. The man said, "This is Home Automation Pros. Can you hear me?" Unfortunately, I said Yes before I remembered the possible scam. Then I said, "What’s your number?" and he hung up.
So I’m afraid this is one of those "Can you hear me" scams, though I did not give them any information. I dialed *69 and got their phone number, including time of call: 4:19 p.m. on January 14, 2020: 773-875-7799.
