Type of a scam Counterfeit Product
We purchased a puppy online. (Shipping was included in the price of the puppy.). Once payment was delivered to seller, Happy Tails Delivery contacted us regarding the delivery of the puppy. We completed a Change of Ownership Certificate for the puppy, submitted it to Happy Tails, and immediately received an email telling us that we needed to send them $1,499.00 for a special cage. All but $74.00 was to be refunded to us upon delivery of the puppy. We sent the money to them via Walmart to Walmart, and fortunately Walmart froze the funds due to a fraud alert on this company.
Please be aware of Happy Tails Delivery. (P.S.We were also scammed on the purchase of the puppy from a different vendor and have not recouped this money – local police are involved in this case.)
