Calling me to report that I am the target of malicious software and they can fix for me. A similar scam targeted my wife in December, and she was scared into thinking she had to pay before our identity and bank account information was misused. I asked for the name of the company and a phone number and was given "Global Tech Service" and 855-287-1648. Says he got my cell phone number, which is on the National Do Not Call Registry, from the "Windows Main Server," which is obviously false. The call came in with the number blocked.
