It was a number out of Compton,CA. They told me I am receiving a grant from the federal government of $9,000 that only three people are getting. She wanted me to write down an address and fax number to later use. I then told her that it wasn’t funny to try to scam people and then she replied with f..k you and hung up.

Explained I had been selected for a government grant. Confirmed my name and address, asked my age and I did not respond. Asked what I would use the grant for and I did not respond. I asked why I had been selected and did not get a clear response. Called prompted me to give my bank account information and I refused. Began to curse at me, calling me and " [censored] loser" and ended phone conversation.
