Type of a scam Debt Collections
Mr. Greg Barker called both my personal phone and my work number (which we do not accept these types of calls as this is a place of business). When returning his call, he did not state the company name, just that his name was Mr. Barker. When questioning what company he was working for, he proceeded to verify my full name. The number he personally called from was 952.215.3698. The number he left on my work voicemail to reach him back at was 800.511.6409. I called his personal number back and informed him that we do not allow such calls at work and that I would be contacting authorities as I have not received any formal letter regarding any past due balance, and if it were a legitimate collection call, he should not be calling from a personal phone. I do not believe he works for a legitimate collection company.
