Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes
I received a phone call telling me they were from Marriott and I was eligible for a free night . I have booked a lot with Marriott over the past month so I thought it was a reward system. I stayed on the phone and a woman asked me if I was over 28 I responded yes. She said she was getting a supervisor then a gentleman came on the phone and wanted to tell me vacation offers, I told him I was not interested and asked if it was Marriott. He said it was a recorded line and asked if I I wanted information. I said ok is this Marriott and he hung up.
I am just nervous because I am hearing about this scam going around where they get people to say yes.
