Type of a scam Business Email Compromise

I was contacted after submitting inquiries regarding laptop and TVs, after submission I was contacted on email. I discussed the products that were offered and discussed terms of payment. I asked what was needed to start the process. They offered 50% payment and balance of payment on delivery to work on trust. After receiving initial payment the terms changed and they asked for tax duties I was reluctant but agreed to pay via cash app, again the terms changed again I asked for refund and they would not honor but continue to ask for more money.
