Type of a scam Counterfeit Product
my 17 year old son had a $*** item listed for sale on craigslist, he received a text asking if he could hold item for 2 days for an extra $** while he sent certified check, then arranged for pick up…today my son received a check for $***, with letter asking him to text his name, check amount and check number…then deposit instructions would follow. i will attach picture of letter, check and mailing envelope.
