Type of a scam Credit Cards
On 6/18/2018, I found a discontinued/hard-to-find product at GreatOffersMall.com and was pleased it was available at a good price, but I should have known the offer was too good to be true. I placed my order and went through the checkout procedure, but then I received an error message "transaction denied", which seemed odd, as my account/credit card status was fine. No charge ever appeared on my account for that transaction, so I figured the Web site was not working and shopped elsewhere for the item I was seeking to purchase.
Twelve days later, on 6/30/2018, two fraudulent transactions with other vendors — which I did not make — appeared on the same credit card that I had attempted to use with GreatOffersMall.com earlier. My bank cleared up the fraud for me, so I didn’t owe anything, but it appears that GreatOffersMall.com is a fraudulent site that is harvesting credit card numbers from customers who think they are engaging in a legitimate retail transaction.
