Type of a scam Employment
Stated he was an artist in need of a personal assistant totally different from the position i applied for which was an admin assistant on careerbuilders. He wanted me to start immediately, however he was in Hawaii & could not meet with me. The equipment needed printer,laptop,cell phone would be mailed to me. He would mail me a check to pay for delivery of this equipment. I would be given a sign on bonus. Wanted me send personal info to include my bank name,# of hours i planned to work, was this my primary job. Things like that, but i had previouly got the exact same scam word for word some months prior on Indeed; so i was aware of what they were trying to do. Called him out on the scam by using the name & address of Edward Martins under the fictitious name of Gary Woodard which he was using.
