Type of a scam Government Grant
Not sure if this is a scam but am reporting anyway. Received call last evening telling me were are qualified for a gov. grant in which we do not have to pay back. All that was requested was a 7% fee for filing the paper work. Offered to give us $74,000 for a fee of 3,300 however when I told them I didn’t have that kind of money they backed down to $1650.00 as the initial deposit. Wanted the money last night on a credit card. It scared me as we are elderly and indeed we could use the help!!!! But I don’t like to pay for anything I haven’t seen or you would have
thought they would have sent paper work first then ask for the money AFTER we signed the papers. Is this a scam and is it hitting everyone now? Are there Gov. Grants available to seniors that are legitimite? The company was called Guardian Gov. Grants.
