Type of a scam Rental
I found a rental home on Craigs list and contacted the person I thought was the owner. He said he was transfered to another state and would have to do everything thru fed ex. He wanted me to send first and last months rent and a deposit. He would not send the keys. He sent me a chase account number with routing information, all under a different name and asked that I send the money and then he would send the keys. I decided to hold off as I felt llike things didn’t feel right. I then stopped by the house to talk to a neighbor to get some info about the owner. There was a couple at the house who had just moved in the week before. They informed me that the person I was talking to was not the owner. He pulled the info and images off of one the home rental sites.
