I chose to download a file and a popup appeared from

https://www.geeker.com/signup?sf=eone

with this rationale of why they want my credit card info (including the CVV2 code):

I did not register and backed out. I just wanted to report this website because I believe that a company that words a rationale as above, it is a scam. Plus I found this BBB website complaint on this company, at:

I was tricked into doing the 5 day trial been charged $0 for it and now that I want to cancel the membership, I find out it’s a scam.
