Type of a scam Government Grant
A social media friend of mine messaged me and asked me if I had heard about "GGF" or Global Government Funding. I said "no" and she referred me to them. She gave me the phone number and I called, and they texted back almost immediately, saying "Are you ready to fill out the form?" They proceeded to ask me personal questions, such as my monthly income, gender, birthday and full address. They said that I can not tell anyone about this until I get my money and if I did, they would disqualify me. They told me after I was "accepted" that I would have to pay a $200 shipping/handling fee. They said they would deliver $100,000 to my door. I asked if they would let me pay the fee with the $100,000 they were giving me and they said "no." After a few hours without texting them as I was trying to come up with the $200, they texted me multiple times asking me if I had the money yet. I said that I couldn’t come up with the $200 for the shipping and handling fee and they asked me if I wanted them to cancel the "application." I said "I guess so" and they didn’t respond.
