Type of a scam Tech Support
I called the number from the website to get help with my Epson scanner and the guy who answered the phone immediately said he could help me and then asked me to go to a website and then type in a number so that he could have remote access. He then asked me to click on the apple and immediately said he noticed something was wrong on my hardrive that I would need to fix and that is would cost $169. Since my computer is new and not having problems, I quit the remote access and told him I wanted to stop. I then called back the number to see who would answer and the same person who first said he was "Kevin" said his name was Sam. He then said he wanted me to check if my firewall was on. I knew it was a scam and had only called back to verify. I then called Apple support because I noticed that my administrator password was no longer working. I reset everything. They should not be allowed to have that website.
