Type of a scam Home Improvement
Got a call saying she was from Easy Heating and Cooling. My caller ID had the number from Bothell, WA phone 425-7804578. She said I used her company in the past to clean out air ducts, check furnace etc. I told her I had it done in June and she said it was time to do it again. Said there was no charge but later said I would be charged for the service call. I asked how she got my number and she said they serviced us in the past. I just got a new furnace and asked if she was associated with the company I purchased it from. She quickly hung up. I tried to call back but it said the number I dialed wasn’t in service. I’m sure she was a fake. My concern is she was so convincing that I’m sure some unsuspecting soul would hire them. Just wanted to report it since I’m not sure where else to call. Thank you
