Type of a scam Online Purchase
I ordered 2 metal weight plates online from gifwall or gifwallc (for physical fitness….weight lifting) for what should have been a total price of about $27.00, but was charged $54.54 on my credit card. After the purchase I quickly realized that gifwall or gifwallc (whichever it really is) was a online scam company without an address or phone contact listed on its website…..contact was only via online. When the company communicated with me, there was nothing that would give the most basic information about the company, and the response had what appeared to be Chinese of Japanese writing on it. I believe it is a scam company recently created to exploit customers during this Coronavirus pandemic because people are desperate to get something they want during these times of short supply so we are vulnerable because we don’t read as carefully as we normally would in a time of non-crisis. I was scammed….it was my fault.
