Type of a scam Credit Cards
I reveived a call from someone stating they were contwcting me due to someone else looking for me and gave me a 844 number to call. I called and the ladh named stephanie said i hada credit card with a -$500 balance. GE money was a credit holder for several different businesses. She stated it happened in 2014 and I have never applied nor reveived a credit card from anyone. I was unemployed and pregnant and credit history already was damged. No one would have given me any line of credit then or now. They had my DOB, Last 4 of my SSN, address and phone number. I proceeded to advise her I habe never applied and she refused to give me any further information on the debt. She hung up on me and I called back several times to be hung up on each time. I called the original 405 number back and the lady sounded like the same lady on the 844 number and she hung up also. It’s terrible as a consumer no protection against scammers getting your personal information available. And to be contacted and threatened over a scam is ridiculous!
