My cell phone rang but I didn’t recognize the number. I answered and got a female voice on a machine saying the have detected illegal activity involving my social security number. Of course I did not call back. Just giving everyone a head’s up.

This company has called me several times from different numbers saying either that I have inherited money or that I have won some money or that I got a government grant or won a car or something else but always trying to get a fee from me in order for me to receive my prize or inheritance or whatever it was sometimes it was a small amount just a couple hundred bucks sometimes it was in the thousands the highest was up to about $5,000 in fees it was supposedly for a courier or a FBI or something of that sort to deliver what I won or inherited or whatever it was it’s usually either a Indian guy or it’s a African guy but none of them usually speak very well English as far as I could tell or as far as they let on when I get these phone calls 24/7 all the time I have even changed my phone number and I still receive them

Called me to say I owe IRS money. They threatened prison and to call back immediately.

received call stating changes to my Medicare coverage. I immediately hung up.

The person asked if I had received my Medicare card and started asking me for personal information which I did NOT provide. I looked up the phone number that called me (678-263-3067) and this number is assigned to Global Crossing Local Services. My fear is that this company is targeting seniors.
