Company advertises free sample for nominal shipping and handling fees. The charges your credit card under a different name Luna, Luna Youth, and Luna Sports, all hit my account for $93. When I called to complain, I was told I signed up for a subscription, that was not apparent. Clearly a scam.

I got a fraud alert from my bank because Essencia skincare tried to take out two payments of $93.87. One payment got through the account, and the other payment did not. Essencia skincare products advertise for a 14 day free trial sample on TV. And that the consumer only has to pay shipping of $4.95 for the face moisturizer and $4.50 for the eye serum for the trail. They do not tell you that the 14 day trial begins the day that you pay for the shipping. So by the time the product arrives, they go into your account and take a full $93.87 for the full amount of the product. Which is a scam because you don’t have time to even use the trial product to see if you like it, and they have already taken the full amount out of your account. At this point, they automatically enroll you in the auto refill and charge you $93.87 monthly until you call and cancel. When I called to inquire about the charges, they offered a half credit of $46.93 and did not refund the other half. They still owe me another $46.93. I am now noticing that a lot of the same complaints about this company are online!
