Type of a scam Identity Theft
I called the 1-888 # listed on the flyer of US TODAY to opt out and they wanted my social security #, so I called the US Today # and tried to tell them I am not handing out my SS # to anyone and to take me off of their mailing list. She said ok and hung up on me. I called again and asked her why she hung up on me and she said because she already had my info. So, I told her she didn’t confirm any thing with me and she hung up on me. I asked her what my mailing address was and she said, she had it. I asked her numerous times to read this off, in which she finally did and I said I would report her to the BBB.
