In August, 2018, my computer was blocked and I was unable to access anything without paying for a technical support service which was supposed to be Microsoft. The charge was $199. Sorry to say I fell for the scam and paid the money on my credit card for a one-year service. Since that time I have been receiving harassing phone calls constantly from various numbers and area codes indicating that they were going to charge my account $399 for renewal service even though I did not approve of the renewal. When I try to return a call left on my answering machine, the phone rings constantly and then goes to a busy signal and then disconnects. The phone calls started in February or March even though the subscription does not expire until August 2019. The companies involved are Assured Money/Econosupport and Nexway. If this happens to you immediately turn off your computer or disconnect it. DO NOT FALL FOR THE SCAM!!!!!
