Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief

On 08/27/2019 I rec a phone call from business stating they could lower my student loans. Since then I have paid them $184 each month. The company said not to contact my current load provider, navient, because they would contact them. The $184 payment came out of my account but was only suppose to be for 6 months then the payment was around $60/ month. On December 30th, 2019 I contacted Navient and they informed me that there was no communication from the company about my loan. On the same day 12-30 I sent an email in which I rec an email instantly saying the email was invalid. Then all of a sudden i started rec multiple text message and emails stating they rec an email from me. This is not a valid company and is a scam.

This company called me because my student loan provider is experiencing a class action law suit (and they are). They said because of this, new repayment programs are actually available to me. They had all of my information already. I did not provide my dob, ssn, or other personal information. They enrolled me in a debt forgiveness program and told me what my new payments would be. However, these are not my loan payments, I only realized afterwards that it this was 13000 in fees to process paperwork to see if I was eligible for the free program already offered by the dept of ed.
