Type of a scam Online Purchase

I was online looking for a golden retriever puppy and came across this website, www.goldenelitehome.com aka Elite Golden Retrievers Home. I filled out the "contact us" information and immediately this person named, James, responded to me immediately in regards to one of the puppies that I was interested in that was for sale online under "available litters". He told me that he was located in Sacramento, California. He told me how old the puppy was, how much, how much it would be to ship her since I lived across the country in Florida. He started telling me all about the puppy, etc, playing on my emotions. Then I started doing some investigating to make sure that this was indeed a legit web site since there was no address, email, etc., so I went out to the AKC to see if they were registered, which they were not. Then I went out to the Better Business Bureau and found nothing there. I then went back to their web site and re-read their "home" page and on there it talked about Golden Creek Kennels, so I did a search and found that company and right on the front of their web page was a warning that read: "Golden Creek Kennels is not or has ever been affiliated with “Elite Golden Retriever Home” (www.thegoldenelitehome.com).We do not endorse or support them". I called and spoke to the owner at Golden Creek Kennels and she told me, "they are a scam"… I then texted James at Elite Golden and called his bluff, I told him that I would like to FaceTime with him to see the puppy and that my friends that live in San Fransisco (which I do) would come and pick her up for me – no response. I texted him 2 more times asking him to get back to me – nothing. My final text to him was this afternoon telling him that I’m reporting him if I do not hear back – nothing. I told him how wrong it is to play on someones emotions like he has… so disheartening that people can do things like this!!
